Complimentary Assessment and Roadmap to Revitalize the way you do Testing

overview

With the current economic slowdown and budget cut, one of the major business imperatives for a CIO is that of lowering operational cost without compromising quality and driving towards self funding of quality.

In five easy steps, we can show you how Cost of Quality can be a driving factor leading to optimization of testing and enable your organization to achieve self funding of Quality. This is based on proven case studies where we had helped the customer to carry out a COQ driven Test Benchmarking for evaluating the organization’s IT capability and build a roadmap validated by a tangible business case and return on investment.

STEP 1: Vision Diagnostic Study

This is performed to capture the Business & IT Delivery Organization’s vision and the AS-IS state of QA/Testing with respect to a set of 10 value statements.

STEP 2: User Diagnostic study

This is done to assess the AS-IS process maturity level of the Testing Organization keeping in view the adherence to the cost of quality.

STEP 3: Consolidated Testing Assessment Report

Based on the two surveys above, a Consolidated Testing Assessment report is submitted to the client. The objective is to collate the analysis of the data collected during the initial exercise and demonstrate the current state of Cost of Quality of the QA organization against the Vision statement.

STEP 4: Business Case

Based on the analysis, findings, recommendation and quick wins, the business case is defined to help the Senior Management in decision making by showcasing business benefits of implementing the recommended solution to reduce Cost of Quality.

STEP 5: Roadmap

After identification of the solution to reduce Cost of Quality based on the business case, a roadmap for implementing the same will be defined. The road map indicates the various activities that are planned to be executed in the specified time frame.
